Nadiv Tamir starts his diatribe with a typical subtle leftish lie. We know that US political violence is perpetrated virtually exclusively by the left, but he talks of a few murders committed or attempted by leftists and then adds the “deadly insurrection on Jan6”to the list, implying right wing equivalence. However the so called deadly insurrection involved a large crowd of unarmed peaceful right wing protesters; the only actual violence was the inexplicable killing of a woman who was crawling through a broken window. She was shot by a stupid policeman for no particular reason. He fails to talk of the hundreds killed or the billions of dollars damage in the wave of BML riots that swept the country, or the violent language used by Democrats that raised the political temperature.
He continues by listing a few people, ostensibly MAGA supporters, who have ventured into anti-Semitic territory but fails to talk of the virulent Democratic politicians who have always been anti-Semitic and especially anti-Israel and who now seem to dominate the active left wing of the Democratic Party. The old line Democrats like Schumer continue to claim to support Israel even if they cannot tolerate Israel’s’ democratically elected leaders, but they make no effort to criticize or silence AOC or likeminded Democrats. Meanwhile Trump, the most Israel supportive President ever, continues to back Israel in word and deed. Attempts by J-Street to bolster support amongst Jews for a Democratic party that has lost its way and moved far from its liberal roots is failing.
